Back again.......
and with another box but this time a heart shape
I thought it needed to be pretty and girly so decided on the carousel horse from Magnolia. The image has been coloured using promarkers and a little stickles has been added to the saddle. Ive used organza ribbon bought at my local market to wrap around the pole then ive topped it with a metal flower which I bent in two. This has then been topped with a pearl effect bead. The box has been trimed with DCWV paper die cut using the Doohickey lace die and a spellbinders heart. The box has then been topped with the same organza ribbon and flowers from WOC.

Well guys thanks for looking and I hope you will call back soon
                      Have a great weekend

Christmas Box

Well Im back , I cant believe how quick time goes.

Today im sharing with you my exploding gift box .A set of 3 boxes which measure 8cm x 8 x 8,10cm x 10 x10 and 12cm x 12 x 12. I have left the inner box intact and removable so it can be used to put a gift in but the other 2 boxes are designed to fall when the lids are removed.
They started off as plain white boxes which i've covered in Christmas cardstock from Tilda and distressed with tim holtz antique linen distress ink .Guipure lace trim 2 of the lids and the other has been trimmed with ribbon from my stash. Each box has Magnolia Tilda designs on them and the larger box has the doohickey tag die cut attatched to the front for a special message. The snowflakes and holly are from the Martha Stewart punchies and the tree is from the marianne creatables die

This is just a short post as I'm busy decorating my daughters bedroom and Ive had a poorly dog who needed lots of cuddles but he does seem to be getting brighter day by day

 Anyway here is todays card.

Ive tried a simple but striking colour combination of purple/lilac and black. The Guipure lace in black and the flowers are from wild orchid crafts.I found the gingham ribbons and flower charm among my stash (I must start using and stop buying, mmmm lol ),The papers and cardstock are a combination of bazill and DCWV.Although it doesnt show too well Ive double layered the butterflies and as you can probably tell Ive used doohickey dies yet again xxx.Oh musnt forget the stickles and the lotv stamp
