Magnolia Gift Bags

Ive been busy making cup cakes today in between kids dinner, walking dog and getting tea ready so Im cheating abit and Im going to add some photots I took a little while ago of some gift bags I made.

 Hope you like them

The template I used was from an old coffee bean box which I drew around onto Tilda double sided card stock and to one added a pocket which nicely holds the Doohickey Tag die.
Once again ive used Magnolia images and created an everyday gift bag and a Christmas gift bag.The christmas one has a die cut stocking attatched cut using a bosskut die with waco pearl detail (great investment) bought from and the butterfly on the other uses a marianne die cuttter. Both have been embelished using items bought from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon is from my own stash.

Here I am again with my final card for today so I will make it short
It features another LOTV stamp but this time one of the new Christmas stamps and aint she sweet.

Like most of the images I use ,this little one has been coloured using promarkers and I have added stickles to her coat trim and to the stars .She has been layered onto a Marianne creatables die cut.I cant remeber which Christmas pad I used for the papers as I got them last year. The flowers and pearl pins are from the wonderful Wild Orchid crafts and dotted among them are a snowflake charm (bought off ebay) and some pearl droplets which were part of a brooch which I dismantled (also an ebay find).
The swirls, tags and borders are created using Doohickey Dies and the snowflake is from a Martha Stewart punch.iside ive again used mariane creatables which Ive stenciled with pink chalks to high light the holly. Finally for a great selection of stamps please have a look at a web site called their stamps have been used on this card

Magnolia Tilda Birthday Card

Heres my 2nd posting for the day

I wanted to make something to brighten up this dull weekend so I went for a bright pink and aqua combination and made it into an Easel card.
I used one of the older birthday stamps but I think she is soooo cute.

Ive created the card using bazzill basics, bazzill bling and some cupcake backing paper but I cant remember where I got it from.

Ive attatched a tag to the outer of this card which was done using a Mariane tag die and inside are 2 Magnolia Tilda tags and all have been stamped with a tiny cupcake which came free with  craft magazine.

Magnolia tilda has been coloured using promarkers and layered onto the spellbinders label die cuts.the little 'happy birthday' is a LOTV stamp.

Ive created a pocket which contains a large tag decorated with the new whimsey banner die and stamp set I think my cards are going to go banner mad I just love them and they are so easy to use.

This has been listed for sale on ebay

Lili of the Valley Box Card xx Milly Me and My Dog

Well I've made it back and I hope your bank holiday weekend is drier than ours
Ive 3 cards to add today, the first being a box card which I will placing on Ebay for anyone thats interested
Its the first time Ive tried a box card and Im quite pleased with the result so I might do some of these for Friends at Christmas .I think they would be great with tea lights or maybe pampering bits in
This one uses one of the stamps from Lili Of The Valley and ive coloured the sweet image using promarkers. The sentiment is also from LOTV.
The main card stock is from the Tilda collection at Panduro hobby and then ive distressed the edges,a little dotty bazzil then just some scraps that I found amongst my stash make up the remainder of stock.Ive limited the embelishments on this design as I thought the cardstock was decorative enough without adding to much to it.
The box has been made from white cardstock and then decorated to compliment the card.

I hope you like it and will call back to see more of my creations

A touch of gold

I hope you've had a good start to your weekend. The weather here isnt too good but it gives me a good excuse to make some cards which a friend has ordered
One I've been asked to make is a Golden Wedding card so I thought I would quickly share this with you before I get it sent off.

                                        hugs Shell x
The main of the card has been cut using the go kreate scolloped circle die
then layered  with a marianne creatable die cut (i cant remember what this one is called).
The doves are from a quickutz die.
and the centre circle has been embossed with hearts
and then i have lightly distressed it using Tim Holtz distress ink 'tea dye'
The flowers are from the great wild orchid crafts
and ive added stickles to the outer edges
